Vidyamandir is known from coon’s age for IIT JEE Test Prep. Coaching for all the subjects is not required for a student in class 9th and 10th. The student needs to put in his/her individual efforts for these subjects. And a little effort can give you best results in those subjects.
Yes this is the right time. An early start is an early end; starting early will give them an edge and they will be always ahead in their curriculum. Early start would also open opportunities for additional learning and exam avenues like NTSE/Olympiads. In class XI, the difficulty level increases tremendously but in case you join early you are prepared for this. In fact, the pressure is divided and you are elevated to next level with ease.
Vidyamandir prepares students for IIT JEE and our founder members believe that there is a right age to start everything. Undue pressure from a very small age can divert their mind. They may feel de-motivated and completely drain out. Their goal might get deprived. So they should not start too early and wait for the right age and time.
Our faculties are from IIT’S/NIT’S & from other reputed colleges with a wide range of experience. They join VMC through a filtration process. As our system is small and require fewer teachers, we have option to select the best in the industry. The teachers are recruited under the guidance of the founder members. The selected teachers undergo a rigorous mentorship program under the founders before taking the classes.
We don’t advice students to join dummy school. From 2017, JEE has changed its criteria of admission. Student needs to secure at least 75% in class XII to be eligible for JEE Advanced. However JEE prep should be the top priority
Most of the time, cope up issue arises due to poor time management. In the classes we start with the basics where concepts are first strengthened and then taken to higher level. Student facing cope up issues are counseled and we try to draft a roadmap for them on how to proceed further. Such students are advised to stay in regular touch with their teachers/mentors.
Students take JEE in class 12th. Preparation from class 8th, 9th or 10th is a very long period and may create a fatigue or loss of focus. So the strategy in class 9th and 10th is on creating interest in the subject and strengthening fundamentals. This is the time when a student can get involved in extracurricular activities which is very important for physical and mental development of the child.
Science syllabus in these classes is very limited. Maths is the only subject through which we can access the student’s potential. Further, it is believed that if you have a good command over Maths, then your science subjects will be good.
